Do you want to lead a safe and experienced work team – and at the same time be part of developing the future of home care? Then this could be the role for you! As unit manager for the northern area of home care, you'll lead approximately 20 committed and self-driven employees. You'll have a central role in an operation where present leadership, collaboration, and development are in focus. Your workplace is located at Fredens kulle in central Hudiksvall, where you'll work alongside other unit managers within home care, staffing coordinators, and an administrator. You're part of the area's management team, where you share experiences and together drive the operation forward. Responsibilities As a unit manager, you have overall responsibility for operations, personnel, work environment, and finances. The role is both operational and strategic, and suits you if you want to be close to the operation while driving development. You will, among other things: lead, coach, and support employees follow up on operations and ensure good quality drive development in line with the municipality's goals ensure good collaboration, both internally and externally work with skills supply and sustainable staffing. Your Profile We're looking for someone who is confident, present, and clear in your leadership. You pick up on employees' needs and recognize when support or follow-up is needed. You have the courage to think new and are driven by developing and improving operations. When circumstances change, you are flexible and solution-oriented. You collaborate well with others and contribute to creating commitment around common goals. The role requires a higher education degree that the employer deems relevant for the assignment, for example in social work, care, health, or rehabilitation. It is a merit if you have: experience in social work previous experience in a management or leadership position completed a leadership training program. You express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing and have good experience working in various digital systems. A category B driver's license is required.
