Frejagården is a specialized residential facility in scenic Friggesund, northwest of Hudiksvall. The facility has 32 beds and approximately 30 competent and committed staff members. It features spacious ground-floor premises, beautiful outdoor environments, and a work team with close collaboration and a strong focus on quality. As a unit manager, you will be part of the area's management group, consisting of experienced and helpful manager colleagues. You will also have close collaboration with the unit manager at Edshammar in Delsbo. In your daily work, you will receive support from a team leader, administrator, staffing coordinator, and the municipality's shared support functions. We are now looking for someone who wants to lead and develop the operations together with the staff and contribute to safety and stability in daily life. Responsibilities As a unit manager, you have overall responsibility for operations, personnel, and finances. You work both strategically and operatively and ensure that workplace and quality management are conducted systematically and sustainably. Through present and clear leadership, you create good conditions for staff and promote collaboration and engagement. The position also includes contact with residents and their families as well as cooperation with internal and external stakeholders. Your Profile As a person, you plan and structure your work well and drive operations forward with a focus on goals and results. You take your own initiatives, make independent decisions, and actively work with improvement and change. Through open and clear communication, you create transparency and are not afraid to address even difficult issues. We are looking for someone with a university degree in an area relevant to the position. It is desirable if you have experience working in care and support services as well as experience as a manager or leader. It is also advantageous if you have management training. The position requires good IT skills, a B-class driver's license, and excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. We place great importance on personal suitability.
