Unit Manager for the Occupational Therapy Unit at Södertälje Hospital: We offer an exciting assignment as unit manager for the occupational therapists at Södertälje Hospital, where you will also provide clinical services. With us, occupational therapists are a natural part of the patient care team, and this position is important for developing and improving the occupational therapists' role throughout the hospital. You will lead approximately 13 occupational therapists who work in both outpatient and inpatient care with hand rehabilitation and orthopedics, at the cognitive clinic and within acute care, geriatrics, palliative care, and ASIH. The occupational therapists thus have good opportunities to follow the patient through the entire care pathway. As unit manager, you will be part of the Health Professions management group together with the operations manager and four other unit managers. You report directly to the operations manager and have access to operations support in the form of a development manager, administrator, controller, HR, and management colleagues. As unit manager, you are responsible for work environment, budget, personnel, and operations development. The assignment also includes quality, safety, production planning, and follow-up. We believe this position could suit both an occupational therapist with previous management experience as well as an occupational therapist who wants to try out the management role with the potential to become a good leader. This position is shared, meaning a management and development assignment of approximately 50% and 50% clinical service.
