It is our largest operation with approximately 700 employees and includes housing, home care services, activities and benefit assessment. Elderly Care collaborates on various matters with different areas, departments, the region and authorities. DUTIES As a unit manager, you are the employer's representative and you will be responsible for elderly care operations in Oskarshamn Municipality. You report to the section manager and will have management responsibility for a number of employees. In addition to personnel responsibility, you will have operational and financial responsibility, which means you develop, plan and follow up on your operations. In your work, you contribute to transforming politically determined goals into efficient operations. Together with management and other collaborative partners, you ensure that elderly care operations continue to be progressive and quality-assured. QUALIFICATIONS In your role as unit manager, you adopt a coaching leadership style and promote collaboration, influence and participation. You have an easy time spreading work enthusiasm and help your employees develop and grow. The position requires that you are a thorough administrator, structured and organized with corresponding analytical abilities. Good teamwork skills are essential, as this work is characterized by constant collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders. Your assignment includes varied documentation, so you need to be able to express yourself well both verbally and in writing in Swedish. In addition to basic computer skills, you need to be able to handle different types of computer systems; we use, for example, Medvind, WinLas, Treserva, Adato, Stella, Opus and Novi. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and are looking for you who: • are social and communicative with the ability to build good relationships • meet your surroundings with humility and optimism • are clear and attentive with good self-awareness • have an easy time initiating, leading and driving development work • are quality-conscious and goal-oriented A class B driver's license is required as you will need to travel geographically to different locations/operations within the municipality.
