Our collaboration partner GKN Aerospace is facing an incredibly exciting and expansive phase where they are growing across multiple areas and technologies. They now need to expand their team with an Engine Accessories Engineer. In your role as Engine Accessories Engineer, you will be part of the team working with engine subsystems, such as fuel and oil systems as well as various devices connected to the RM12/RM16.
Example of work tasks:
Support product support activities such as troubleshooting, problem-solving and technical investigations related to engines in operation or during maintenance and testing
Participate in product development from concept phase to implementation, including participation in engine testing
Contribute to technology and concept development for future propulsion systems and increased electrification
Model subsystems and devices (e.g. pumps and regulators) in Matlab/Simulink
Collaborate with customers, end-users and external partners
Progressively broaden and deepen your expertise at both component and system level
The assignment requires you to undergo a security interview and be approved according to applicable regulations. The assignment also entails requirements for certain citizenship.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have a university degree in mechanical engineering, engineering physics, electrical engineering, aeronautical engineering or similar. You have good knowledge of Matlab or Simulink. If you have previous knowledge of bearings, gears, hydraulics or pump technology, this is meriting.
We primarily look at your personality and believe that you are a structured, meticulous and responsible person. You are curious, have a positive attitude and are motivated to develop your expertise.
You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
