WORK TASKS We are seeking an engaged after-school educator who wants to contribute to our students' learning and development both during school time and at the after-school center. As an after-school educator with us, you will be part of a team with the classroom teachers and actively support them in teaching by assisting students with support, guidance and engagement in their learning. During after-school hours, you are responsible for planning and implementing activities that stimulate students' creativity, social and intellectual development, always based on the curriculum Lgr22. Your work at the after-school center should create a safe and inspiring environment where each student feels seen and encouraged to develop according to their individual abilities. You will work closely with colleagues and guardians to ensure that students have the best conditions for meaningful and educational after-school time and schooling. QUALIFICATIONS • Knowledge of Lgr22: Good understanding of and experience working according to the Lgr22 curriculum, particularly within after-school center activities. • Pedagogical competence: Ability to plan, implement and evaluate instruction and activities that promote student learning and development. • Experience: Previous experience working in school or after-school settings is a merit, particularly in collaboration with children and youth. • Communication skills: Strong communicative ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues, students and parents. • Leadership ability: Ability to lead and engage students in various activities and teaching moments. • Empathy and patience: Strong social skills and ability to meet and handle different needs and challenges with students. • Flexibility and problem-solving ability: Ability to adapt to changing situations and needs, and quickly find solutions to problems that arise. • IT competence: Basic computer skills and experience with digital tools that support teaching and learning. • Engagement: A passion for working with children and youth and a desire to continuously develop within the profession. The position is a permanent employment at 100% with a start date by agreement, with a 6-month probationary period.
