The Social Services Sector includes 4 operations: special housing/municipal health and medical care, individual and family care, ordinary housing/personal assistance, and disability services. Within the disability services area, interventions are implemented according to LSS, the Law on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities, and the Social Services Act (SoL), targeted at people with various disabilities. Services are designed to strengthen the individual's ability to actively participate in community life and live and reside under safe conditions, with respect for self-determination and integrity. Group homes/residential support, daily activities, short-term housing, and various respite care forms are some of the support functions. All parties in the chain contribute to qualitative and safe support for persons with disabilities. 1 position(s). DUTIES As a support pedagogue, you work in close collaboration with the unit manager and are expected to take significant responsibility in shaping the operations with a focus on pedagogical work. You are a resource and role model regarding pedagogical work and how our residents are treated. You work on assignment from the unit manager to ensure the unit's quality work by developing work shift descriptions and implementing methods, working approaches, and routines. Your assignment includes guiding support assistants so that support to our residents is provided adequately in accordance with established goals, methods, quality requirements, and other guidelines. You also have overall insight into and support colleagues in social documentation in Lifecare based on IBIC in the implementation plans. You support the residents in daily life by creating a predictable, manageable, and understandable existence. You provide professional support by strengthening the user in their daily life and create conditions for development and an independent life. All work is based on the user's individually developed implementation plan. The work includes all household tasks in a home. You are offered guidance from a methodology developer and will be part of a network with other support pedagogues within LSS housing and daily activities. You are offered engaging and challenging work with significant responsibility where major demands are placed on your ability to independently drive processes and issues forward, with support from the unit manager and methodology developer. Full-time position (100%). A six-month probationary employment applies. The position involves daytime and evening work as well as every other weekend according to schedule. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with training as a support pedagogue or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You also need knowledge and experience with matters such as cognitive disabilities, autism, Down syndrome, care, clarifying pedagogy, and low-arousal approaches. You are proactive and self-driven, with strong ability to lead, coach, and support the unit's support assistants in pedagogical and method-oriented work. You also need to have great commitment and passion for your work, as well as the ability to responsibly implement decisions and agreements. Meritorious are also previous work experience with users whose diagnosis is within the autism spectrum, as well as work with externalizing users and/or combined difficulties, such as autism combined with psychiatric diagnosis. You have the ability to express yourself well and are fluent in Swedish both verbally and in writing. Driver's License Category B is meritorious. Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
