We are looking for a dedicated and caring personal assistant for a woman in her 80s who lives in central Gothenburg
As a personal assistant, you will be an important support in daily life. Your responsibilities will include cleaning, running certain errands, and may in time involve some light care tasks. An important part of the work will involve engaging the customer, which means you as a personal assistant need to have the ability to plan and structure activities in consultation with the customer.
We are looking for someone who is confident, takes initiative, and finds it easy to plan and structure activities based on the customer's interests and needs, which may vary—you need to be responsive to the customer's mood and condition. You need to be able to take your own initiative while being responsive and respectful in your work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal chemistry and how well you work together with both the customer and the family, where it is especially important that you feel comfortable having close contact and cooperation with the family.
We are looking for someone who:
Has a driver's license
Has experience with dogs
Speaks Swedish fluently in speech and writing
Is calm, caring, and empathetic
Meritorious if you have experience working in healthcare and elderly care
Experience working with people who have had a stroke or cancer is particularly meritorious for this position.
