The role includes providing security and structure in daily life – from personal care, outings, and enjoyable outdoor activities to medical support for the client's diabetes and epilepsy.
About the assignment
Our client is a 35-year-old woman living in Hanaskog who needs assistance around the clock, including overnight on-call duty. For certain activities and moments during the day, two assistants are sometimes needed.
She is a social person who values closeness, enjoys meeting new people, swimming, taking walks, and spending time in nature.
As an assistant, you will be her extended arm and support in all daily tasks. This includes:
Support with daily routines such as personal care, dressing, and meal preparation
Monitoring and practical assistance with the client's diabetes and epilepsy
Assisting during swimming, outdoor activities, and outings in the client's car

Who are we looking for?
Since the client values a secure and direct relationship, you need to have straightforward, clear, and mature communication. A low-affect approach is central to creating calm and predictability. The client also benefits from assistants who are confident in themselves, authentic, and have a good sense of humor.
Requirements for the position:
Driver's license for manual transmission, as you will drive the client's car for activities and outings.
Qualifications and characteristics:
Practice or have good understanding of a low-affect approach
Are mature, stable, and attuned to the client's signals and needs
Easily take initiative and act decisively when needed
Are flexible and have genuine interest in your work
Have a warm personality, understanding, and humor
Meritorious:
Experience with or knowledge of diabetes and epilepsy (meritorious, but great weight is placed on personal suitability and attentiveness).
