We are now seeking a preschool teacher for a temporary position at our preschool Uppfinnaren just outside Uppsala. Our working method is called EduZone and is unique to Norlandia. The children are divided into eight groups; we have no separate departments but instead a preschool consisting of eight challenging learning environments where every child can explore and develop all their abilities at the same time. Your role in the team is to lead the group and be responsible for teaching and education at the preschool. About Norlandia Uppfinnaren Uppfinnaren is located in Lindbacken, just east of central Uppsala with good transportation connections to and from central Uppsala. The preschool is located in newly built areas next to beautiful nature and nearby horse pastures. Who we are looking for We are looking for someone who is confident and responsible, who is passionate about your profession and has an approach and manner that aligns well with our values CARE. The preschool works in project form with a common focus area for the entire preschool. We have clear documents and digital platforms where we continuously and systematically document and monitor all children's learning. Digitalization in preschool is a given for us, so it is important that you are comfortable with the digital, both pedagogically and practically. We use Office 365 as a platform for our systematic quality work and development and Prion for documentation and communication with our guardians. Duties as a preschool teacher: Drive the educational work in the team, plan, document and evaluate teaching. Ensure that each child's individual and collective learning is documented. Promote the creation of a democratic climate in the group. Collaborate with the team to offer children a good learning environment for development, play and learning. Show joy in work and respect for guardians. Responsibility for developing a trusting relationship between you and the children's families.
