Job Description Our Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation department at AFRY currently consists of a team of electrical, instrumentation, and automation engineers located in Norrköping and Linköping. We work with everything from design and engineering to commissioning and technical support within process and manufacturing industries, energy, and other industrial sectors. We are part of Pulp & Paper Sweden and deliver both project and professional services assignments to a broad customer base in the region. As an electrical power design engineer with us, you will work on electrical engineering assignments primarily in the Industry and Energy segments. The assignments vary in size and scope, ranging from feasibility studies and preliminary design to new construction and renovation projects. Work is conducted both in-house and at the customer site. Examples of Work Tasks • Electrical power and design engineering • Analysis and technical investigations • Short-circuit calculations and cable dimensioning • Selectivity plans • Circuit and connection diagrams, layouts, cable lists, and connection tables • Equipment selection and technical specifications • Participation in testing, commissioning, and startup The team consists of knowledgeable and engaged colleagues with a good mix of junior and senior experience. You have access to support from experienced engineers and specialists in instrumentation, electrical, and control systems, as well as from other AFRY offices when needed. We work primarily in project form and have close collaboration with other technical areas and geographies within AFRY. The combination of broad technical expertise and varied assignments gives you good opportunities for development; both in your current role and, in time, for example with specialization in instrumentation or greater responsibility in projects. You will have the opportunity to follow projects all the way through; from concept and design to commissioning and final inspection. To fit the role with us, we believe you have: Several years of experience in electrical power or design engineering, transformers, switchgear, motors, and drive systems Familiarity with systems and experience in AutoCAD Relevant technical education from upper secondary school, vocational school, or university, or equivalent experience Language skills: Swedish in speech and writing, English is desirable It is desirable if you have: Experience with design tools such as Comos, Eplan, or Insyde Courses or training in EL-Vis, Febdok, Netkoll, Neplan We are looking for you who, with your drive and commitment, can make a difference in our team and contribute to our development.
