We are looking for an experienced electrical design engineer for a technical and varied assignment in an industrial production environment. Here you will work closely with both production and other engineering disciplines on the design, development, and improvement of machines and systems. About the Assignment As an electrical design engineer, you will work with both new designs and modifications to existing systems and technical drawings. The role combines independent design work with problem-solving and close collaboration with operations. You will work with, among other things: - Electrical design and preparation of technical documentation - Changes and updates to existing drawings and systems - Problem-solving and technical development of production equipment - Documentation and quality assurance of design materials - Commissioning of machines and equipment - Training and technical support to operations - Requirements management and follow-up with external suppliers - Planning and monitoring of your own activities and assignments The work is conducted mainly in two different flows – partly in project form, partly through ongoing work orders linked to production and systems. You will work closely with production and have regular contact with maintenance technicians, operations technicians, and external suppliers. Other contact points include procurement, internal specialists, and contractors. You will become part of a cross-functional technical organization where electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and systems engineers work together on different aspects of production. We Are Looking for You Who - Have relevant technical education in electrical engineering, automation, or equivalent - Have at least 4–5 years of documented experience as an electrical design engineer - Have experience with electrical design in the manufacturing industry - Have excellent knowledge of relevant standards in the field - Are comfortable working in projects and independently managing your own tasks and assignments - Have experience with requirements management and follow-up with external suppliers - Can plan, execute, and monitor work in a structured manner - Enjoy collaborating with different professional groups in a production-oriented environment - Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing As a Person We believe you are self-driven and structured while also appreciating working with others. You have a solution-oriented approach, take responsibility for your tasks, and are comfortable moving between design, projects, and the practical reality out on the production floor.
