AFRY Advanced Automation in Borlänge is now seeking an electrical engineer who wants to take a key role in our projects and contribute with both technical expertise and leadership. Our team consists of specialists in automation, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and project management who together deliver complex projects to some of Sweden's leading industrial companies. As an electrical engineer, you will have overall responsibility for electrical design in our projects, from early concept studies and technical decisions to final delivery and commissioning. You will work on developing technical solutions, ensuring high quality in deliverables, and creating conditions for efficient project execution. The role involves significant technical responsibility where you function as a specialist in electrical engineering while also being a natural coordinating force in the project team. You collaborate closely with project managers, automation engineers, designers, and customers to ensure that projects are executed according to set objectives, schedules, and quality requirements. An important part of the role is to contribute structure and technical guidance to projects. You will plan and coordinate design work within your area of responsibility, monitor progress, and ensure that solutions meet both customer requirements and applicable standards. You will also have the opportunity to support and develop less experienced colleagues through knowledge sharing and technical coaching. The work is varied and can include everything from major investment projects in process and manufacturing industries to modernizations, reconstructions, and optimization of existing installations. You work both from our office in Borlänge and in close collaboration with customers and colleagues within AFRY's national organization. Requirements Work Experience: More than 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering for industrial process or production facilities Knowledge/Education: Relevant formal education in electrical, electrical engineering, or electrical power, or equivalent practical experience Good knowledge of documentation tools and ability to handle and understand various customers' requirement specifications and documentation systems Language Skills: Swedish and English, spoken and written Merits Work Experience: Experience working in project form, preferably in a leading role in industrial projects Experience distributing tasks to junior staff members in project teams Experience with automation projects related to industrial drive systems Process experience from steel and manufacturing industries as well as energy production Education: Engineering degree in electrical, electrical engineering, or electrical power with industrial focus System Knowledge: Elprocad EPLAN Sitebase Autocad Electrical Additional Information Welcome to submit your application.
