The role is a permanent position with EQ Engineering AB. Work is performed on a contract basis as a technical consultant, typically on-site at our customers in Västerås and the surrounding region where we work on the customer's projects under their direction. Remote work from home office or from EQ's office in Kopparlunden is sometimes offered. This is entirely governed by the customer's policies and preferences. To be qualified for the position, you must: have a civil or university engineering degree supplemented with at least 2 years of experience from electrical design work, preferably with experience using common CAD tools such as Elmaster, AutoCad, Eplan. A vocational engineering degree (YH/KY) is of course also of interest, especially if you have worked in the role for a couple of years be fluent in speaking/understanding/reading/writing Swedish and English Meritorious (not required): knowledge of transformer stations experience/knowledge of hydroelectric power stations experience with calculating/assisting in quotes for electrical installations previous role as technical project manager/lead engineer within electrical power/energy Experience working in PDM systems (document management systems) About You... You should be humble, preferably with a sense of humor. Since working as a consultant involves customer meetings at irregular intervals, you should have no difficulty conveying and describing your technical competence and personal qualities. About EQ..
