As a Student Assistant with us, you'll have an important role in supporting students both in the classroom and in the social environment around the school. You'll become part of a public organization that takes responsibility for education, care, and social services and is committed to children's right to an equal and secure school day. What you will do In this role, you'll be close to students in their daily lives, both during lessons and at breaks. You contribute to creating a safe learning environment where everyone feels seen, included, and motivated to develop. Together with teachers, special educators, and other staff, you support students who need extra help – both academically and socially. • Support students in the classroom based on their individual needs • Be a support in social situations, for example during breaks, in the lunch room, and during transitions • Work with safety, structure, and clarity in daily routines for one or more students • Collaborate with teachers and student support teams regarding adaptations and support measures • Contribute to a positive classroom climate with a focus on participation and respect • Participate in values-based work, well-being activities, and joint initiatives at the school • Take part in work both at school and in after-school programs Your competence Requirements • Have a student assistant education or other equivalent education with a focus on children and leisure pedagogy • Have good Swedish in speech and writing and can support students in language development Merits • Have 2 years of relevant experience working with children or young people, preferably from school or leisure activities We're looking for someone who enjoys being close to students, who is calm yet energetic, and who meets children and young people with respect, curiosity, and patience.
