Glöstorpsskolan is currently a grades 7-9 school with just over 300 students. 45 people work at the school, and there are two special education groups, SU2-groups, Nova and Nedergård. Starting in the 2026/27 school year, Glöstorpsskolan will become a grades 4-9 school. The school area also includes Gunnestorpsskolan F-3. The school area has one shared principal and five assistant principals. We are now recruiting two student assistants for the special education group at Nedergård. Job Responsibilities As a student assistant, you will work together with special educators, teachers, and other student assistants to provide students with the support they need to develop and achieve their goals. You will primarily support students with developmental coordination disorder and autism and help create a safe and structured school environment. An important part of the role is building good relationships with students, even in challenging situations. The work is varied as support is adapted to each student's individual needs and circumstances. Qualifications We are looking for someone with upper secondary education, preferably with a focus that has given you knowledge about students in adapted primary education. We also see that you have experience working with people with various disabilities. Experience working in adapted primary education is meritorious. Education in care and/or experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) is also meritorious for the position. The role also requires that you can express yourself fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and that you can understand and work with specialized literature in Swedish. Speaking multiple languages or having previously worked in a multicultural area is meritorious. It is meritorious if you have an interest in or knowledge of music and can use this as a tool for learning, motivation, and relationship building. Possession of a B-category driver's license is also meritorious. As a person, you are responsive and a good communicator. You work in a structured manner with individual adaptations and clear pedagogy, and have the ability to always maintain a calm and measured approach. You have good collaboration skills and can build trusting relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians alike.
