As a student assistant, your base will be our small teaching group "Studion," where you support both students and teachers based on where the need is greatest. About Us Grimstaskolan is a grades 6–9 school with approximately 450 students distributed across 16 classes plus one class within adapted primary school. Each grade level forms its own team that works closely together around students' development and needs. The school is located in eastern Upplands Väsby, with proximity to nature, recreational activities, and an active community life. About the Position As a student assistant, you work primarily in our small teaching group, "Studion," together with a special education teacher. The group size varies, and currently 4–8 students have their placements there in full or in part. Your task is to provide support and stimulation based on the students' specific circumstances and to promote their development and independence. This position is a temporary assignment at 80–90% during another employee's sick leave. At present, the temporary assignment covers the entire fall term of 2026. Are You the One We're Looking For? About You as a Person: You are a secure and stable person who handles stress constructively and makes quick but well-considered decisions when the situation calls for it. You have strong interpersonal skills, find it easy to make new contacts, and show great consideration by listening to and understanding others' situations.
