About the role and your responsibilities As a student assistant, you guide and support the student in their learning and are available both socially and practically throughout the student's entire school day and after-school program. One of the cornerstones is to help the student become independent, and you build relationships with the student and their surroundings to increase their sense of security. You are active within the scope of your assignment and are an important support in developing learning, either with individual students or in student groups. We are now seeking two student assistants for Idalaskolan. The positions are permanent contracts at 75-100%, with placement in preschool class, and a fixed-term position at 75-100% in grade 3. Your assignment is to collaborate with teachers and after-school pedagogues to find working methods and approaches that promote learning and create security for students at both group and individual levels. We are looking for you We are looking for someone with upper secondary or adult education within a children and after-school program. We would appreciate if you have experience working with students in need of special support. Good collaboration skills are important as they are a prerequisite for a functioning team. You also need to be flexible to meet students' varying and changing needs based on their daily disposition. You need to be skilled at building relationships with both students and colleagues. Clarity is important to create predictability and security for students, and you should have a low-affective approach.
