Gårdby School is an F-6 school with integrated after-school care consisting of approximately 133 students. The school is located on the eastern side of Öland where the surrounding area offers accessible and beautiful nature as well as an environment characterized by fascinating history. Gårdby School is "the small school with a big heart" where we work to ensure that all students succeed based on their circumstances. Health and well-being are at the center so that each student can reach their full potential and where staff act as guides and create motivation and security. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES The work involves specially adapted activities for students in a specialized teaching group. You work in a team consisting of teachers and student assistants with support from the school's student health services. The activities are based on the students' needs. We strive for a structured and individualized approach where each student can develop based on their abilities and capabilities. In collaboration with the team, you work to create conditions for development and learning as well as provide security and structure throughout the school day. QUALIFICATIONS As a person, you are responsible and engaged with a good ability to create calm, structure, predictability, and clarity for students in need of special support. It is meritorious to have pedagogical training and/or experience in pedagogical work with students within the autism spectrum. Experience working in LSS activities with individuals in need of support is also meritorious. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, ends: 2027-07-09. The position is advertised as fixed-term but may possibly transition to a permanent position.
