Saab is expanding in Göteborg and Skill is now recruiting electronics assemblers.
Your Responsibilities
As an electronics assembler, you will be part of a skilled and dedicated team working with assembly, soldering, and testing of advanced electronic products. You will collaborate closely with the development and production engineering departments and contribute to both series production and the development of new prototypes.
The work is varied and requires a high degree of precision, quality awareness, and technical interest. You will work according to ESD and IPC standards and play an important role in ongoing improvement efforts within production. Working hours are daytime, and the position is located at one of the sites in Göteborg.
Examples of your tasks:
· Soldering, cable manufacturing, assembly, and inspection of electronic products
· Reading and interpreting drawings and production documentation in Swedish and English
· Troubleshooting, modification, and improvement of existing products
· Documentation and handling of any deviations
· Work according to applicable quality and safety standards (ESD, IPC)
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and manufacturing. Your personal qualities are important, and great emphasis is placed on collaboration skills. Saab is in a phase where operations are continuously changing and developing. In addition to your team members, you will interact cross-functionally with development engineers and production technicians, among others. Commitment, ideas, and innovative thinking are thus valued qualities. The work requires you to be a precise person with strong quality awareness.
For this role, we are looking for someone who has:
· Education in electronics or technology
· Experience in electrical work and assembly
· Good knowledge of drawing reading
· A strong interest in technology
It is advantageous if you:
· Have experience handling circuit boards and if you have soldering certification and ESD training. It is also advantageous if you have previously worked with MPS systems.
The position requires that you undergo and be approved according to current security clearance requirements. For positions where Saab has security classification requirements, this may, where applicable, require certain citizenship.
