We are seeking an Electrical Quality Support Specialist to represent the client on site during the construction and commissioning of a large-scale project in Sweden. Reporting to the Client Quality Manager, you will act as the technical quality safeguard on site, monitoring quality assurance and control (QA/QC) across all electrical packages. You will ensure contractor installations strictly align with engineered designs, client standards, and Swedish regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Site Quality Assurance: Perform regular daily site walk-throughs to inspect physical electrical installations, including MV/LV switchgear, transformer substations, UPS systems, backup generators, busbar distribution, grounding/earthing, and cable tray containment. Documentation Review: Review and audit contractor Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Risk Assessments (RAMS), and daily quality logs before execution. Non-Conformance & Punch Lists: Identify, log, and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), observations, and punch-list items. Work closely with the general contractor to verify root causes and ensure timely closeout. Testing & Commissioning Oversight: Witness site acceptance testing (SAT), cable integrity testing (Megger/Hi-Pot), relay testing, energization sequences, and Level 1–5 commissioning phases alongside the commissioning team. Regulatory Compliance: Verify that all electrical installations strictly comply with Swedish national regulations (Elsäkerhetsverket rules, SS 436 40 00) and European standards. Client Interface: Represent the client's technical and quality interests during site coordination meetings, progress reviews, and contractor quality audits. Required Qualifications & Skills Experience: Minimum 5 years of QA/QC or site engineering experience on large-scale electrical infrastructure projects (data centers, power plants, semiconductor facilities, or heavy industrial builds). Technical Knowledge: Strong background in MV/LV distribution, high-availability UPS topologies, emergency backup power, and complex earthing/lightning protection systems. Standards & Codes: Familiarity with Swedish electrical safety standards (Elsäkerhetsverket regulations, SS 436 40 00) and relevant IEC/EN codes. Education: Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or a trade certification as a Master/Journeyman Electrician with extensive QA/QC leadership experience. Languages: Professional working fluency in English (mandatory); conversational or fluent Swedish is a major advantage. Software: Experience with digital QA management platforms (e.g., BIM 360, Procore, Fieldwire, or ACC).
