About the Role
As an Electrical Design Engineer at Nevita, you'll become part of our electrical, instrumentation, and automation team, working with electrical design and technical solutions for industrial facilities. Assignments are primarily within process, energy, and heavy industry and can include both new construction and renovation of existing facilities.
You will work through various phases of project lifecycles – from feasibility studies and design to installation, testing, and commissioning. The role involves close collaboration with other disciplines such as process, instrumentation, automation, mechanical, and piping.
Depending on the project and your experience, your responsibilities may include:
Working with electrical design and design of industrial electrical systems
Designing and sizing electrical power systems, MCC, switchgear, and control cabinets
Preparing electrical schematics, cabling, cable lists, and other technical documentation
Performing technical calculations and component and material selection
Developing technical specifications and procurement documentation
Participating in multidisciplinary projects and technical reviews
Supporting installation, testing, and commissioning at the facility
Contributing to FAT/SAT, troubleshooting, and verification of electrical systems
Who Are You?
We're looking for someone with experience in industrial electrical work and electrical design who thrives in technically complex projects. You have a strong understanding of how electrical systems are structured and how they interact with other parts of an industrial facility.
We would like you to have:
Engineering degree in electrical engineering, power engineering, or equivalent
Experience with electrical design and design within industry
Knowledge of electrical power, MCC, switchgear, and control cabinets
Experience with sizing, component and material selection
Familiarity with electrical schematics, cabling, and technical documentation
Experience from process, energy, or other heavy industry
Experience with ATEX, commissioning, FAT/SAT, I/O-check, and troubleshooting is a plus.
It's an additional advantage if you also have knowledge of PLC/DCS and industrial automation. Experience with systems and platforms such as ABB 800xA/AC800M, Emerson DeltaV, or Siemens TIA Portal/PCS 7 is particularly of interest.
