Position Offered Social Statistics Department Expert in Social Statistics Data Analysis and Dissemination (civil service position for a fixed period of up to 1.5 years) Your Main Responsibilities: participate in the compilation, analysis, and publication of annual education statistics indicators on the official statistics portal, preparation and submission of education finance and personnel tables to Eurostat, OECD; participate in data compilation, analysis, and publication of household Internet usage survey indicators (ICT persons) on the Official Statistics Portal; participate in developing education statistics compilation methodology, familiarizing with other countries' experience and changes in international methodology, participate in inter-country working groups, as well as collaborate with other state institutions on education statistics issues; prepare education statistics data upon request; update, together with colleagues, the Social Inclusion section and Gender Equality section publications on the portal regarding education statistics, household Internet usage; participate in data analysis of population and household surveys within the department's competence in social statistics, preparation of indicator tables and publications for publication. Our Requirements: higher education relevant to the field; knowledge and practical work experience in data compilation and analysis, including data quality assessment skills; good knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web browsers; English language proficiency at B2 level (oral and written) for understanding methodology and building international cooperation; very good collaboration, analytical, and communication skills; experience in preparing education statistics indicators may be considered an advantage; compliance with the requirements of Article 7 of the State Civil Service Law.
