We are now seeking a junior accountant for a larger organization in Jönköping. Here you will work broadly with finance-related tasks, develop your skills, and become part of a competent team where collaboration, quality, and development are in focus.
About the Role
In this role, you will support experienced colleagues with both administrative and finance-related tasks. You will be part of a larger finance function that supports operations and colleagues at multiple locations in Sweden. The role suits you if you have built a solid foundation in finance and accounting and now want to continue developing in an environment where you can take on gradually increasing responsibility. Examples of tasks:
Ongoing finance administration and accounting-related work
Handling of accounts payable and accounts receivable
Work related to bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial documentation
Support in parts of audit and closing processes
Review and preparation of simple annual reports
Work and analysis in Excel and other digital finance and business systems
Administrative support to colleagues in finance and accounting
Is This You?
We are looking for you with post-secondary education in finance and approximately 1–3 years of relevant work experience. For example, you may have worked as a finance assistant, accounting assistant, junior accounting specialist, or in auditing. Furthermore, you have a good basic understanding of accounting and enjoy working in a structured and thorough manner. You are comfortable with PC/Windows as your work environment and have strong Excel skills. Experience with systems such as Fortnox, Hogia, or Visma is a merit but not required.
As a person, you are curious, humble, and responsible. You enjoy collaborating and are not afraid to ask questions, while at the same time wanting to gradually become more independent in your work. You appreciate a role where accuracy and structure are combined with the opportunity to learn new things.
