We are looking for a team member for our economics and operations department for the position of economist - head of economics and operations department. Job Description: - Managing and coordinating the economics department (accounting, payroll administration, etc.). - Responsibility for maintaining the organization's accounting records in accordance with applicable legislation. - Processing and verifying accounting transactions in the Helios system. - Preparing budgets, ongoing monitoring and evaluation. - Planning finances and preparing proposals for the organization's economic management. - Administration and financial management of grants, subsidies and projects (e.g., MPSV, regional authorities, EU funds). - Communication with regulatory authorities, auditors, banks and grant providers. - Establishing and optimizing economic processes. Requirements: - University or secondary education in economics. - Experience in accounting and economics (ideally in the non-profit sector). - Experience managing a small team is a plus. - Good knowledge of relevant legislation (accounting, taxes, non-profit organizations). - Independence, attention to detail and responsible approach. - Practical experience with Helios accounting software is a plus. - Group B driver's license is a plus. - Respect for the charity's ethical values (Charity Czech Republic Code of Ethics).
