Learn more at bollebygd.se The position is organizationally placed in the Municipal Executive Board's finance unit, where you will be part of the municipality's overall finance function and work alongside experienced finance colleagues. Your primary assignment is directed toward the Social Services Administration, where you serve as financial support to administration leadership and operations. You have a central role in the administration's financial management, monitoring, and development, while also contributing to the municipality's overarching financial processes. The Social Services Administration is responsible for the municipality's social services and municipal health and medical care, with operations in elderly care, individual and family services, LSS services, and municipal primary healthcare. The administration has approximately 270 employees and 18 managers. We are now looking for an operationally-focused economist with a focus on the Social Services Administration! 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES With us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with operations and contribute to the development of welfare in Bollebygd municipality. You will be part of a committed finance unit with broad expertise in municipal finance. We work closely with operations and have a culture characterized by collaboration, knowledge exchange, and continuous development. Your duties include: • Providing qualified support to administration leadership and managers on financial matters. • Working with budgets, forecasts, financial statements, and economic monitoring. • Analyzing operational results and contributing to long-term financial sustainability. • Preparing decision-making materials, investigations, and financial analyses. • Actively participating in the Social Services Administration's management group. • Developing and improving financial management, working methods, and processes. In this role, you will work in the financial system Raindance and the operational management system Stratsys. The municipality actively works with digitalization, operational development, and data-driven decision-making, where the finance function has an important role in developing analysis, monitoring, and management. You will have significant responsibility and the opportunity to plan and structure your work in close dialogue with both the finance department and the Social Services Administration. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in economics or public administration from a university or college that the employer deems relevant • At least three years of experience with qualified finance work in public operations. • Good knowledge of municipal finance and financial processes. • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, and financial analyses. • Good computer and system skills as well as experience working in Excel and various operational and financial systems. • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Merits: • Experience as an economist or controller within the social services operations areas. • Experience with staffing economics. • Experience with the financial system Raindance and the operational management system Stratsys. • Master's degree in economics or public administration. To succeed in this role, you need to be analytical, structured, and self-directed. You have good teamwork skills and enjoy building trusting relationships at different levels in the organization. You take initiative, drive issues forward, and can explain financial relationships in a pedagogical way to different target audiences. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
