JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Our current economist will soon move on to another assignment and we are looking for a new employee and colleague for our organization. As an economist with us, you will work broadly and you like to pitch in where needed. Your responsibilities include ongoing financial administration such as daily bookkeeping, deposits and withdrawals, accounts receivable and payable, etc. You will also, together with the controller, upper secondary school principal and adult education principal, provide financial support to the core operations in their daily operational finance work. You participate in budget and closing work as well as in the development of financial routines, processes and working methods. You will have the opportunity, in dialogue with the controller and federation director, to influence the direction and focus of these tasks. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with an academic degree in economics or a certified business economist degree. Preferably, we are looking for someone with strong knowledge of accounting. We would like you to have at least a few years of experience working with budgeting, forecasting, monitoring and analysis in public sector operations. Experience with project accounting is also a merit. You have good system skills and an interest in how IT support can be used to simplify and improve work. You master the Office package, primarily Excel, and experience with Agresso/Unit4 ERP is a merit. A class B driver's license is required. Your Qualities In your role as an economist with us, you need to be able to work independently while also seeing the benefits of collaboration and cooperation. You have an easy time collaborating and building trusting relationships. You have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We also expect good pedagogical and analytical ability and that you have an easy time explaining financial matters to non-economists. Employment Type: Permanent employment.
