About the Position Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant, the client, and his family. For this position, you must have: previous experience in care and support, pedagogical education, or have previously worked with people who have a muscle disease good knowledge of Swedish in understanding, speaking, and writing our client prefers a female assistant a B driver's license as you will be driving the client's specially adapted car. You also need to have access to your own car to easily get to the workplace. For this position, it is an advantage if you: have experience with similar work can swim good physical fitness and are active share the client's interests and fun activities! The client likes swimming, meeting friends, and going to the stables to ride horses, so it is a big plus if you share these interests. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment arrangement is "For the duration of the assistance assignment" with a starting employment level of approximately 20%. Beyond the scheduled working hours, there are great opportunities for additional shifts and expanded employment. Current working hours are between 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM (some flexibility available).
