The property operations unit consists of 15 dedicated employees working together to create well-functioning, sustainable and safe municipal properties. As an HVAC technician, you'll work with a wide variety of properties and many different technical systems. The role gives you significant responsibility while also receiving support from colleagues and specialists. Your responsibilities In this role you'll work with monitoring, operation, service, troubleshooting and optimization of the properties' HVAC systems. You're responsible for ensuring the systems function safely, efficiently and with good energy performance. Your work tasks include: - Responsibility for operation and monitoring of heating and hot water systems - Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance on HVAC installations - Optimize heating systems, temperatures, flows and energy usage - Monitor and maintain pumps, valves, mixing valves, sensors, heat exchangers and expansion systems - Troubleshoot hot water and circulation systems - Manage and respond to system alarms - Control and adjust control and regulation functions connected to heating and HVAC systems - Participate in commissioning and balancing of heating systems - Monitor water consumption and energy usage - Coordinate efforts with contractors, suppliers and operations - Participate in renovations and technical improvement measures - Document and update technical operation information Your qualifications You have a technical upper secondary education in HVAC, building technology or energy, or alternatively other education that the employer considers equivalent. You also have at least three years of experience working independently with operation, service, troubleshooting or maintenance of HVAC installations. Through your experience, you've built broad technical competence in HVAC and a good understanding of how building technical systems function and interact. Other requirements are: - B-class driver's license for manual transmission - Good Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form - English language skills to read and understand technical documentation - Good digital competence It's an advantage if you have post-secondary education in: • HVAC technology • Building technology • Energy • Refrigeration technology It's an advantage if you have certificates or training in: • Hot work • Fall protection • Lift training • Work with pressurized equipment • Electrical safety training It's also an advantage if you have knowledge or experience with: • Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Building Operation To succeed in this role, you're proactive, service-oriented and have the ability to plan and structure your work.
