With us, you'll have the opportunity to work with our swimming pools, ice rinks, and sports halls throughout Göteborg. You will work independently with significant responsibility, while also being a valuable part of a competent team of approximately 30 employees within the Operations and Maintenance unit, which includes operations technicians, engineers, carpenters, masons, customer service representatives, and a mobile function. As an operations technician with us, you'll have varied and responsible work ensuring that our facilities operate optimally. Your main focus will be the operation and maintenance of electrical systems in our buildings. You will, among other things: Perform troubleshooting of systems and conduct regular inspections and repairs, including emergency service calls. Perform minor electrical repairs in our facilities. Act as a purchaser of services and materials and follow up on completed work. Handle monitoring of and ensure that all regulatory requirements and safety regulations are followed at our facilities. Handle incoming incident reports. Serve as backup and collaboration partner to your operations technician colleagues. You will be based at one of our facilities, but you work mobile across the city. Working hours are Monday – Friday. Qualifications We're looking for someone who has completed upper secondary education and is a trained electrician. You hold an electrical certificate and have worked as a service electrician for at least 2 years. You also have a Class B driver's license. We consider it meritorious if you have further training as an operations or facilities technician. Experience working with equivalent facilities such as operating substations, ventilation systems, and swimming pools and ice rinks is meritorious. We appreciate experience working with regulatory requirements. We place great emphasis on your personal competencies, including being responsible and meticulous in your work. You perform your work to the best of your ability, ensure that work is carried out in a professional manner, complete work on time, and follow up on results. The position requires that you have good flexibility and can switch between a holistic perspective and detailed issues, and that you enjoy facing new challenges. You have good collaboration skills and contribute to the work group and other collaborations in your professional role. Within the scope of your assignment, you can also act independently based on what the situation requires. Your communication skills are also an important part of this role, where you convey information and ideas clearly both verbally and in writing and ensure that your message gets across.
