We are now seeking an Operations Manager with a focus on security technology for our Technology and Property unit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Gästrike Vatten operates a large number of treatment plants, water facilities, pump stations, pressure boosters, and elevated water tanks. As Operations Manager, you will work with the daily operations and management of the facilities and their associated infrastructure and physical security.
You will work in close dialogue with operations and contractors to ensure that buildings, outdoor environments, and equipment function safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. You listen to emerging needs and are responsible for delivering solutions that support operational requirements within the relevant areas.
In the security field, you will work with optimizing and adapting both external and internal protection such as surveillance systems, access control, locks, and passage systems at the facilities. The role also includes responsibility for systematic fire safety work and handling requirements for regulatory inspections of lifting and pressure equipment.
You will actively participate in operational projects as a technical expert and ensure that security solutions comply with operational requirements according to standards and procedures.
The role also includes operational support, troubleshooting, issue management, and continuous improvement work.
Much of the development and improvement work is carried out in project form, where you both lead and participate in both smaller and larger investment projects.
On-call duty may be part of the position.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you with post-secondary education in facility technology, operations, or equivalent education/experience that the employer deems equivalent, such as documented years of experience in facility operations. We would appreciate it if you have work experience in the technology field where you have worked with alarm and access systems.
It is a merit if you have experience working with issue management systems and if you have previously worked with systematic fire safety work.
We are looking for someone who can work both independently and in a group and has the ability to make decisions on your own. As a person, you are flexible, responsible, and have quality thinking as a natural trait in your work.
A category B driving license is required for the position.
