Your Assignment As operations manager, you will be part of the property office within the department for operational support. The office is responsible for the facilities and properties used by the agency. In your role as unit manager for FRA's property operations, you will have strategic responsibility for ensuring that our properties are operated cost-effectively, safely, and sustainably. You will establish and monitor the unit's budget, lead and allocate staff work, and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation. Your area of responsibility includes efficient procurement, management of operations contracts, planning of contingency measures and fire safety, as well as management of support systems and service agreements. You will maintain continuous cooperation with other agencies, property owners, and FRA's suppliers. FRA is growing, and with this expansion, the operations unit's mission will also need to evolve. As unit manager, you will be part of the office's management group, where you will work together with other unit managers to further develop the office's operations. You will report regularly to the office manager. As operations manager, you are responsible for, among other things: Lead daily operations and plan and monitor property management Deliver stable operations without serious occupational health or fire safety incidents Manage property finances, budgeting, and forecasting Have personnel responsibility and actively work to develop the team and work environment Develop processes and inspire employees to achieve operational goals Create a positive work climate with high employee satisfaction Drive improvement projects that increase quality and efficiency Develop multi-year strategic plans for operations, energy efficiency, and digitalization Your Qualifications We are looking for someone with: High school diploma or relevant vocational education in property management/property operations, other equivalent education, or equivalent knowledge gained in working life. Experience in property, electrical, refrigeration, or power technology Several years of documented experience leading operations and management of properties, for example in roles such as team leader, project manager, or line manager. Experience in budgeting and forecasting work as well as operations project finance Basic knowledge of the Office suite Basic knowledge of systems for issue and fault reporting Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written B-class driver's license We consider it a merit if you have: Documented leadership training Documented education in property, electrical, refrigeration, or power technology Experience leading and coordinating teams in complex environments within property operations, for example data centers Experience with both control and monitoring systems (building management systems) Good proficiency in English, both spoken and written Your Qualities We are looking for someone with the following qualities: Strategic – You think strategically and have a broad perspective on issues.
