Now we're looking for an Operations and Maintenance Manager to join our team in Hofors!
As an Operations and Maintenance Manager at Adven, you will have a central role in daily operations and in creating structure, foresight, and clear priorities within operations and maintenance. Together with the team, you ensure that work is planned and carried out safely and efficiently—both in the here and now and with an eye toward the coming weeks.
You work closely with our operations and maintenance technicians and also coordinate external resources, contractors, and specialists based on operational needs. This role has no personnel management responsibility, but you have an important coordinating function in the team and work closely with the Operations and Maintenance Manager.
About the role:
In this role, you hold together daily planning and help the team prioritize what needs to be done, when, and with what resources. You actively participate in operational activities and become a natural link between the technicians, the Operations and Maintenance Manager, and internal and external resources.
Together with the team, you follow the facility's operations, handle deviations, and plan upcoming operations and maintenance work. An important part of the assignment is to create good foresight and ensure that the right activities are carried out at the right time.
The role includes, among other things:
Coordinate, prioritize, and follow up on daily work within operations and maintenance.
Plan upcoming work together with the technicians and create good foresight in operations.
Monitor facility operations and key metrics, handle deviations, and coordinate appropriate measures.
Plan and follow up on preventive and corrective maintenance, including management of work orders in the maintenance system.
Coordinate internal and external resources, such as technicians, contractors, and specialists.
Contribute to staffing and contingency planning, audits, and improvement work within operations, maintenance, safety, and working environment.
