We are now seeking a Technical Documentation Engineer for our central technology and project office within Boliden Mines. Here you will have a key role in technical documentation, drawing management, and digitalization work that contributes to safe facilities, regulatory compliance, and long-term development of our operations. Your Role As a Technical Documentation Engineer, you will ensure quality, structure, and accessibility in technical documentation for our mining operations. You are responsible for support and development of drawing management, CAD-related processes, and technical standards. You will also contribute to our digitalization efforts and information structure for facility data. The position is located in Boliden and belongs to the Project Office within the Engineering Department. Travel within Boliden Mines' operations in Sweden, Finland, Ireland, and Portugal is a natural part of the work. Your Team You will become part of the Project Office, a central project organization responsible for some of Boliden's largest investments. The team works with project management, technical documentation, drawings, project standards, CE, and quality assurance of facility projects. Here you collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and operations at our mines and concentrators. Your Responsibilities You will: Manage support and administration of drawing archives and technical documentation Support operations with questions regarding drawing numbers and documentation structure Provide support regarding CAD licenses and associated procedures Maintain and further develop Boliden's technical standards Contribute to structuring and quality assurance of metadata for our facilities Support project and maintenance organizations with technical information and document management Participate in digitalization and information management development initiatives Your Contribution We are looking for someone who is organized, thorough, and has a genuine interest in order, quality, and technical information. You enjoy collaborating with many different functions and have the ability to translate operational needs into efficient work methods and solutions. You work independently while actively building relationships and creating good collaborations across organizational boundaries. We believe you have: Education: University education in engineering or other relevant field, or equivalent professional experience. Experience: Experience with technical documentation, document management, or information management in project or industrial environments. Competencies: Good understanding of drawing management, metadata, and structured information management. Experience with continuous improvements and development of work methods. Languages: Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing. Driver's License: Category B. Meritorious qualifications include experience from industry and previous work as a production engineer, systems developer, CAD administrator, or similar role. Why Work With Us?
