No. 90000068977, announces a competition for a vacant academic staff position: FACULTY OF NATURAL SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY at the Biomaterials and Bioengineering Institute for one (1) DOCENT position (0.1 workload) – Field: 2. Engineering and Technology 2.4. Chemical Engineering, General Chemical Technology subspecialty Requirements for candidates: PhD in Engineering Sciences in Materials Science; experience in materials science and chemical technology; experience in teaching courses in chemical technology and biotechnology; experience in compiling and publishing scientific data, at least 5 publications (indexed in SCOPUS) in the last 6 years; English language knowledge and skills at B2 level for performing international job duties. Gross monthly salary: 196.00 euro Candidates wishing to participate in the competition must submit electronically to Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte's Department of Human and Organizational Development (signed with a secure electronic signature) to the email ([email protected]): a statement addressed to the Rector about participation in the competition; a curriculum vitae, which indicates scientific, pedagogical, organizational work experience and a list of published works in the last 6 (six) years (it is recommended to attach the list of published works as a separate annex), as well as other documents that the candidate wishes to attach to the statement to more fully characterize their qualifications; copies of documents confirming scientific/academic degrees or higher education and, if necessary, other documents specified in regulatory acts (for example, documents confirming the level of state language proficiency, etc.), presenting their originals if the candidate is participating in a competition for work at RTU for the first time and has not previously submitted copies of these documents to the Department of Human and Organizational Development. The competition deadline is one month from the date of publication of the announcement on the State Employment Agency website.
