We care for patients in their own homes. These patients need care services that would otherwise have to be provided in inpatient settings. Our goal is to create conditions for the best possible quality of life, regardless of where the patient receives care. This includes, based on the patient's own wishes and through round-the-clock availability, providing the best possible symptom management and relief.
The Role
As a district nurse within ASIH, you will have the opportunity to provide personal and high-quality care to patients. No two days are alike, and the variety in the work and encounters with different people are very rewarding. Through our multidisciplinary team, we want to create the best possible conditions for safe and good care in the home. We strive for high continuity. Everyone in the team works closely together to meet patients' needs in the best possible way.

Duties include advanced medical interventions such as handling of SVP, CVK, and Piccline, blood tests, medication administration, transfusions, and symptom relief. As a district nurse, you will be responsible for prescribing incontinence aids, diabetes equipment, therapeutic mattresses, and nutritional supplements.

About You
We are looking for someone who
is a licensed district nurse, preferably with previous experience in palliative care
works evidence-based and is professional in your interactions and values putting the patient first
is confident, independent, and open to new challenges
appreciates working in multidisciplinary teams
has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
knowledge of Take Care is a merit
B driver's license is a requirement
