Reception for functional disabilities in primary care Our 1800 employees work with close-to-home care and health services in Uppsala Region. We offer a broad range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation services, and we provide advice by phone via 1177. Education, research and development are important to us, as we adapt our services based on the needs of the population. We already offer mobile teams, video visits and smart e-services. Your role As a district nurse with us, you work with primary care for our patients with severe and complex functional disabilities. The reception handles both acute and scheduled visits and also works with preventive measures. You will work closely with us, physicians, nurses and medical secretaries at the reception. Phone advice is an important part of the work as well as communication through Cosmic Link. We work closely around our patients with the municipality's nurses, as well as with the patient's network. You will have your own reception for assessment and treatment of minor conditions, such as ear cleaning, dressing changes and more. As a nurse with us, you will have great opportunities to influence the daily work yourself. There are good opportunities to develop your expertise in specific diagnoses and syndromes. Your qualifications We are looking for you who are a trained district nurse. Previous experience working with this target group is a merit. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and suitability. The work requires that you have good cooperation skills but also the ability to work independently. Your approach is characterized by openness, a forward-thinking mindset and good interpersonal skills. As a person, you are clear in your communication and structured in your work methods. You are attentive and can easily build rapport with both patients, relatives and colleagues. Our operations Reception for functional disabilities in primary care is a grant-funded primary care operation within the Close-to-home care and health department. We are located at Kungsgärdets center, centrally in Uppsala, and care for just over 400 registered patients with complicated functional disabilities who, for various reasons, have difficulty getting their care needs met within regular primary care. You will work in an environment where we have plenty of time for our patients. The work is very stimulating with high demands on social and medical competence. The staff works closely with the network around the patient to create the best possible health outcomes. Much of the care takes place in consultation with other professional categories who often know the patient well. Want to know more?
