We are located in well-planned and spacious facilities near Tumba center, easily accessible in 20 minutes by commuter train from central Stockholm. Tumba developed around a paper mill in the 1700s and today offers a pleasant area with everything from apartment buildings and single-family homes to rural settings. The Workplace: Tumba Health Center is a well-staffed and stable workplace with representatives from all professional categories. Currently, we have eight specialist physicians in general medicine, six ST-doctors, and both BT- and AT-doctors conducting their rotations with us. To strategically prepare for the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare's goals—namely 1,100 listed patients per general medicine specialist—we are seeking an engaged and dynamic specialist in general medicine. Main Responsibilities: Standard district doctor duties with opportunities for service at BVC (child health services) and home healthcare. Supervision of BT/AT/ST-doctors is included, with time allocated for these responsibilities. We offer you varied and stimulating work with a high degree of flexibility. With us, you have the opportunity to combine physical visits with digital consultations, and part of your work time can be conducted from home if desired. We welcome medical students from KI, which we find rewarding. Time is allocated for quality work and continuing education. Qualifications: - You are a physician with specialist competence in general medicine. - Authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Personal Qualities: We seek someone who is flexible, has good communication skills, and puts the patient at the center. Employment Terms: Permanent position, full-time 40h/week; part-time may be discussed. We offer flexible working hours and a generous wellness allowance. Probationary employment may apply. For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Health Care Area: - Background checks are conducted prior to employment decision according to SLSO's guidelines for employment screening. - Employees who will have patient contact must undergo health screening through occupational health services before employment. - In addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required.
