Tierp Health Center Our 1,800 employees work with primary care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a broad range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within rehabilitation services, and we provide advice by phone via 1177. Your assignment With us you will have varied and stimulating work in close collaboration with all professions at the health center. We are a large, stable and experienced physician group with several specialists and resident physicians (ST-läkare). This means considerable collegial support and close collaboration in daily work. We have a structured approach and very good team spirit with a medical meeting one hour per week. Your work tasks consist of clinic work with scheduled visits; we have a clear booking structure and you are responsible for your own schedule. Clinic work is varied with acute visits, digital work from home, home visits, and assisting colleagues and students with your knowledge, as well as opportunities to supervise students and resident physicians. You can develop your own working methods and there are good opportunities for continuing education. Based on your preferences, we also have assignments at MHV, BVC, UM and SÄBO. As a health center, we are the region's largest with all conceivable resources (ultrasound, X-ray/CT in-house, large lab, proximity to NÄVE and emergency clinic operations, etc.). The position as district physician within Region Uppsala includes working at our emergency clinics and in the on-call duty line. Your qualifications We are seeking someone with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish medical license and good ability to communicate in Swedish in speech and writing. You see the challenge and joy in following your patients through all ages of life. As a person, you are good at planning, organizing and prioritizing work efficiently. To be successful in this work, you need to be flexible in your working methods. Your ability to collaborate and willingness to contribute to the development of the operation will serve you well with us. Our operations Tierp Health Center is located between Uppsala and Gävle with good commuting options. From Uppsala, both trains and buses run twice per hour during rush hour. The health center is within walking distance of the station. We have approximately 19,400 registered patients and approximately 100 employees who work in teams with all services within the health center's mandate, including the emergency clinic. Our patients are both young and old and live in Tierp and surrounding rural areas. The health center is part of the Primary Care and Health department in Region Uppsala.
