Enköping Primary Care Center Our 1,800 employees work with primary care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a broad range of services within primary care. Our patients visit us at Region Uppsala's own primary care centers or within rehabilitation services, and we provide advice by phone through 1177. We are now hiring a district physician for Enköping Primary Care Center! We are looking for a district physician who wants to contribute to developing primary care in Enköping. We offer a permanent full-time position starting according to agreement. The primary care center has a new management structure with our operational manager and medical director physician. We work with a development-oriented approach focusing on patient safety and work environment. This includes methods to promote accessibility and continuity—you should have time to complete your tasks and maintain control over your workday. Your Assignment With us, you will work in close collaboration with all professions at the primary care center. Your tasks include clinic work with varied responsibilities and opportunities for assignments in child health centers, maternal health centers, asthma/COPD, diabetes, heart failure, geriatric clinics, and special residential care for the elderly (SÄBO). You will also provide supervision to medical students and trainee physicians, and cover some on-call and standby duties. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone with specialist qualification in general medicine and Swedish medical license. You are an excellent communicator in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and can easily build rapport with both patients and colleagues. As a person, you are skilled at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work efficiently, and flexibility in your approach is essential for success in this role. Our Operations The primary care center is part of the Primary Care and Health Administration of Region Uppsala and is conveniently located near Enköping Hospital. The operations also include a branch in Fjärdhundra. Together with the branch, the primary care center has approximately 9,500 registered patients, and about 40 employees work in close collaboration at the center. We maintain good relations with the hospital, and an urgent care clinic is located nearby. Our patients come from both urban and surrounding rural areas. Want to Know More?
