Distribution Electrician
We are seeking two distribution electricians for Umeå Energi Elnät AB to meet increased staffing needs during fall 2026. The assignment encompasses work in power distribution and operation of electrical installations.
The assignment is a consulting position based in Umeå within Västerbottens county.
Assignment start is October 6, 2026 and runs through December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension up to 12 months, but no later than December 31, 2027.
The assignment is full-time for two distribution electricians, corresponding to approximately 1,000 hours during fall 2026.

About the Role
As a distribution electrician, you will work with operation, maintenance and management of power distribution installations. The role involves contributing to a safe and reliable power supply and supporting operations during a period of increased resource needs.
Role and Responsibility

Operation of electrical installations.
Contribute to safe, stable and efficient power delivery.
Carry out assignments in accordance with applicable safety and work procedures.
Cooperate with other resources within the organization.
Required Qualifications
1. Experience as a distribution electrician.
2. Expertise in power distribution.
3. Experience operating electrical installations.
4. Ability to work in accordance with applicable safety regulations.
5. Swedish language proficiency in speech and writing.
Desirable Qualifications
1. Experience from the energy sector.
2. Experience working in power grid operations.
3. Good collaboration skills.
4. Experience with similar assignments in power distribution.
Assignment Information
Assignment Period: October 6, 2026 to December 31, 2026
Possible Extension: Up to 12 months, but no later than December 31, 2027
