Make a difference. Every day. Centre for Primary Care Research (CPF) is seeking a doctoral-level academic coordinator. You will become a central part of the network of doctoral AVC coordinators and have the opportunity to coordinate and develop activities in close collaboration with healthcare and research. Region Skåne is responsible for healthcare, public transportation, and sustainable development throughout Skåne. We promote regional business, culture, and collaborations with other regions, both within and outside Sweden. Region Skåne's highest decision-making body is the Regional Council, which is directly elected by residents of Skåne. CPF is a dynamic research platform at Clinical Research Centre (CRC), a vibrant and inspiring scientific environment located on Malmö's beautiful hospital campus. CPF's mission is to conduct world-leading research based in primary care through active collaboration between academia and primary healthcare. At CPF, research is conducted on common primary care issues such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, mental health, substance abuse, lifestyle factors, and e-health. Operations extend throughout Skåne via a number of academic healthcare centres (AVC) with a total of 14 doctoral AVC coordinators. Operations are a collaboration between Region Skåne and Lund University. Research at CPF is funded by, among others, ALF funds from Region Skåne, the Swedish Research Council, Forte, the Swedish Heart and Lung Foundation, the Swedish Cancer Society, and the National Institutes of Health (NIH), USA. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES You will become a key person in the network of doctoral AVC coordinators where you lead meetings and develop activities. You will also lead a course in research methodology for ST physicians in collaboration with AVC. The work also includes developing scientific project plans and ethics applications as well as writing reports in collaboration with researchers, statisticians, and data managers. You will be an important link between healthcare and academia and will have a good opportunity to develop professionally. Together with us, you will create conditions for increased scientific competence and successful clinical research in primary care. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking someone with a doctorate and academic training in healthcare, health sciences, nursing, public health, or similar. You have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. For those with education in a licensed profession, Swedish language skills at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are required. The position requires good collaborative skills and an interest in coordinating work tasks and leading groups. You also have a good ability to engage with and contribute to both smaller and larger research projects. It is advantageous if you have experience giving presentations and conducting training initiatives. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities. The salary range for this position is 45 000–56 000 kronor and individual salary is determined based on experience, competence, and qualifications. The department is responsible for appropriation-funded healthcare activities within close healthcare.
