The position involves conducting program activities for clients throughout the service area. You will be based at a community corrections office, but may be located in a different location than your colleagues and supervisor. You will work very independently and support other program leaders with their clients. Your daily work will mainly involve digital contact with clients, as well as participation in coordination meetings and other meetings conducted digitally. Treatment programs are conducted with high quality and according to evidence-based practice principles. They are primarily based on cognitive behavioral therapy. We use treatment programs addressing criminality, violence, substance abuse, and sexual and relationship violence. The diverse program offering means you will lead several different programs. Our program offerings consist primarily of individual programs, though group programs may occur. Even though treatment programs are conducted individually, teamwork and participation in collegial supervision are a large part of the job. The role includes close collaboration with the community corrections inspectors who handle the case, so that the treatment program is integrated with other interventions during the client's sentence. The position also includes administrative tasks. You are fundamentally employed as a Community Corrections Inspector, and this may mean that you could be assigned other work tasks if needed. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is confident, stable, and has good self-awareness. You have a good understanding of how people acquire knowledge and adapt the way you communicate based on the recipient's circumstances. In your professional practice, you must have good judgment and integrity. As a community corrections inspector, you need to have good collaboration skills and be able to communicate clearly. You must also have physical fitness that enables you to act physically if the situation requires it. To thrive and succeed in your role, it is important that you share the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's fundamental values of a humane view of people, respect for the individual, and belief in human development. You are also aware of and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect you and others. Furthermore, you are expected to contribute through your approach to ensuring that everyone is treated equitably. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We are looking for someone who has: An academic degree (at least bachelor's level) with a behavioral science orientation, preferably in behavioral science, social work, criminology, or social science, or alternatively another academic education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service considers relevant. Class B driver's license Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Good computer proficiency. It is also meritorious to have: Well-documented work experience in criminal justice, social care, psychiatry, or health and social care Experience in criminal justice work Experience with investigative work Experience working with digital tools Experience working with the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's target population.
