Your role
As a diagnostic technician at Engströms Lastbilar in Linköping, you'll be one of our technical experts and a key person in the workshop. You step in when standard troubleshooting isn't enough and work with complex challenges in electronics, control systems, software, and vehicle diagnostics.
In the role, you will, among other things:
Install and commission electrical equipment in new vehicle installations
Troubleshoot electrical systems, electronics, and communication networks
Program, configure, and update vehicle systems
Read electrical schematics, measure, and document your work
Stay current with developments in modern vehicle and diagnostic technology
Who are we looking for?
You might currently work as a diagnostic technician, industrial or field electrician, automation technician, or in control systems, but want to develop further. Vehicle experience is a plus, but not required. What matters most is that you're technically strong, want to grow, and enjoy solving problems with others.
We see that you have:
Training or experience in electrical systems, automation, control systems, or similar
Experience reading electrical schematics and troubleshooting systematically
Interest in electronics, programming, and new technology
Class B driver's license. If you don't have Class C, that's something we can offer
Experience with high voltage, electric, and hybrid technology is a plus. As a person, you're curious, solution-oriented, and tenacious in the right way. You don't see problems as obstacles, but as something to understand and solve.
