As a depot worker at Trafikverket, you'll help make everyday life easier for residents and businesses throughout Sweden by contributing to the infrastructure of the future. Work Duties Depot worker is a varied position that suits you if you're practical and technically minded. Here you'll have the opportunity to combine hands-on and physical work with some administrative tasks. You'll work with handling, inventory management, and maintenance of vehicles and emergency equipment used in our operations and crisis organization. The work includes the operational flow from incoming inspections and equipment maintenance to material delivery, and participation in exercises and emergency operations involving terrain transport capabilities as well as temporary bridge construction. The civil defense assignment includes handling emergency equipment such as bridges, backup power, supplies and terrain transports, as well as other types of vehicles such as forklifts, wheel loaders and trucks. Examples of work duties: Preparations and arrangements before and after bridge, bandvagn and/or backup power operations Compile deliveries and perform national and regional transports of emergency vehicles/materials to projects and operations Participation in national temporary bridge construction/operations The work includes travel and work at other locations with overnight stays. We're looking for someone who has a high school education has work experience in warehousing and logistics or other equivalent experience has experience working with Office packages has good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written has a CE driver's license It's not a requirement but is a merit if you also have YKB certification have ADR certification (authorization to transport hazardous goods) have a forklift and truck operator license have a certified safe lifting training certificate have a mobile work platform training certificate have a hot work certificate and welding experience have a professional certificate for truck-mounted cranes over 18 metric tons have experience in brake assembly Other Information If you have protected personal information, please contact the manager responsible for recruitment so your application is handled according to special procedures.
