Deputy Project Manager Production Railway in Northern Region, Östersund/Sundsvall, IVnrj2 Do you want to drive complex railway projects in northern Sweden? We are now looking for an experienced Deputy Project Manager Production Railway for a long-term consulting assignment with Trafikverket. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing railway projects within Region Norra, with a focus on projects in Jämtland and Västernorrland counties. The projects include planning, design, and production, including handover to operations. The assignment is a consulting position based at Trafikverket's office in Östersund or Sundsvall. Physical presence is required three days per week. The assignment covers 70-100% of full-time with a planned start no later than 2027-01-01. About the Company Trafikverket is responsible for long-term planning of the transport system for road traffic, rail traffic, maritime and aviation. The organization works to create an accessible, safe and sustainable transport system for all of Sweden. About the Role As Deputy Project Manager Production Railway, you will be a key person in the implementation of railway contracts. The role involves responsibility for planning, monitoring and coordination of project production with focus on time, cost, quality, safety and environment. You will work closely with the project organization, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders to ensure progress and achievement of project goals. Role and Responsibilities Plan, allocate, implement and monitor project work according to governing documents. Take responsibility for project implementation regarding time, cost, quality, content, safety, working environment and environment. Establish and monitor schedules together with project organization, suppliers and other stakeholders. Establish calculations and budgets according to applicable procedures. Take responsibility for agreements with external stakeholders and interested parties. Ensure that required project and production meetings are held. Lead production meetings, construction meetings, financial meetings, technical meetings and design meetings. Monitor and drive projects to ensure set goals are achieved. Ensure that standards, requirements, regulations and directives are complied with. Assist with technical advice within the project area. Contribute to knowledge transfer to Trafikverket's employees. Required Competencies 1. Higher education or vocational education with technical focus of at least two years, or equivalent competence. 2. Training for BAS-P and BAS-U. 3. Good knowledge of laws, regulations, standards and directives within work environment, electrical safety, traffic safety and environment. 4. Valid BASÄSKYDD (SoS-leader) including current refresher training. 5. Valid authorization for BASTAB stability-affecting work railway. 6. Valid certification TRV APV 3.0. 7. Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing. 8. Valid B-category driver's license. 9. At least 5 years of experience as deputy project manager, project manager or in construction management function in railway projects with ground and BEST works. 10. Experience from the role as client in construction management function in railway projects. 11. At least 5 years of experience in contract management and consultant and contractor law (AB, ABT, ABK, AMA, MER and RA). 12. Experience of production planning for railway contracts. 13. Experience of production planning within design assignments for railway. Value-Added Requirements 1. Analytical and creative approach. 5. Independent and structured working methodology. Assignment Information Assignment Period: From contract signature through 2028-12-31. Option: Extension of 12 + 12 + 12 months. Scope: 70-100%. Placement Location: Östersund or Sundsvall. Physical Presence: 3 days per week at Trafikverket's office. Business travel will occur.
