The tech stack includes Python, SQL, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Apache Spark, and dbt, as well as cloud-based platforms and AI-supported workflows. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Data Engineer, you'll design, build, and further develop data platforms and pipelines for the company's clients. The role involves end-to-end responsibility where you work closely with both technology and business. You will, among other things: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms Ensure high data quality, security, and long-term sustainability Work with modern data technologies and cloud-based solutions Collaborate closely with clients to translate business needs into technical solutions Contribute to architecture and design decisions within data platforms Use AI tools to streamline development while maintaining quality Participate in knowledge sharing and continuous skill development You'll work on consulting assignments, which means variety, client contact, and the opportunity to influence solutions across different types of organizations. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You have at least 4–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Backend Developer, or similar You have strong knowledge of Python and SQL You have experience building data pipelines and working with modern data platforms You have an understanding of system architecture, data modeling, and scalable solutions You speak and write fluent Swedish and English You have a relevant academic background in, for example, data engineering or systems science ADDITIONAL MERITS IF YOU Have experience with tools such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Apache Spark, or dbt Have worked in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) Have experience in consulting roles and client-facing work Have worked with data-driven organizations or analytics platforms Have an interest in AI and modern development tools We place great emphasis on personal qualities and are looking for someone who: Has a strong focus on quality and understands the importance of correct and reliable data Is technically curious and wants to develop within the data field Has the ability to critically evaluate solutions, including AI-generated code Thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys sharing knowledge Has a long-term and sustainable approach to system development ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Scope: Full-time Start: By agreement Salary: Fixed salary + benefits Working hours: Office hours Location: Central Stockholm RECRUITMENT PROCESS This is a direct recruitment, which means the successful candidate will be employed directly by the company.
