About the job You will work with BI development in an agile development team where you collectively take responsibility for the team's deliverables while keeping the bigger picture in mind and contributing to a well-functioning society. In your role, you help develop solutions for people who file taxes, start and run businesses, move, or get married, etc. You have the freedom to organize your work within the team and work together toward a common goal. The development environment includes Red Hat OpenShift, Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Java, Spring Boot, Python, and SQL. You should also have: post-secondary education in computer science or data science, or alternatively other post-secondary education with a focus on data and analytics several years of current and relevant work experience as a data engineer/BI developer, preferably from a government agency, bank, insurance company, pharmaceutical company, or similar organization several years of current and relevant database knowledge It is desirable that you have an interest in statistics and an interest in how a larger organization functions Good to know The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification.
