We are now seeking a skilled and certified electrician who wants to work daytime hours as a Data Center Technician - a role where you work hands-on with critical infrastructure, repairs, and technical maintenance in a high-tech data center environment.
About the Role
As a Data Center Technician, you will become part of our Critical & Technical Services organization. You will play a central role in ensuring operational reliability in our customers' most critical environments. Here you work with both preventive and corrective maintenance, always with a focus on safety, quality, and technical precision.
Your Responsibilities
You will, among other things:
Perform daily inspections of mechanical and technical systems and equipment.
Work with service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs - with a focus on electrical and critical systems.
Respond to alarms from BMS (Building Management System) and perform emergency measures.
Ensure safe working conditions throughout the facility.
Collaborate with external suppliers and ensure that processes, legal requirements, and agreements are followed.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance.
Monitor BMS systems and handle HVAC-related issues.
Document measurements from UPS, PDUs, and electrical systems and conduct rounds.
Identify, report, and address facility issues.
Work according to established procedures and safety standards.
Perform quality checks and ensure proper documentation.
Participate in necessary training for the role.
Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for someone who:
Is a certified electrician with relevant technical education or apprenticeship training.
Has 1-2 years of experience in electrical work, maintenance, or technical operations.
Has a good understanding of electrical distribution and technical systems.
Is analytical, curious, and solution-oriented.
Has good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Has good communication skills.
Speaks Swedish and English fluently in speech and writing.
Meets the physical requirements of the role.
Can work daytime hours (shifts may occur).
