We invite an occupational safety specialist to join our team to ensure and improve a safe, well-organized, and compliant work environment at the museum.
OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY SPECIALIST
(profession code 3119 04)
One position for indefinite period (0.5 FTE)
Your daily work will involve organizing and coordinating the occupational safety system, assessing workplace risks, training employees, and conducting workplace inspections. Your goal will be to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for museum staff and visitors.
Your contribution to the museum's daily operations
Develop, update, and maintain the museum's occupational safety documentation.
Conduct workplace risk assessments, develop occupational safety action plans, and monitor their implementation.
Organize employee briefings, training sessions, and knowledge assessments on occupational safety matters.
Ensure and monitor the use and inventory of personal protective equipment.
Supervise compliance with occupational safety requirements across museum departments, conduct workplace inspections, and provide recommendations for improving working conditions.
Participate in evaluating safety requirements for museum buildings, exhibitions, storage facilities, and administrative structures.
Investigate workplace accidents (if any occur), prepare documentation, and plan preventive measures.
We are looking for a team member with:
Education: at least secondary education with appropriate professional qualifications in occupational safety in accordance with regulatory requirements;
Experience: in workplace risk assessment, maintaining occupational safety systems, organizing briefings, and experience working with the State Labour Inspectorate and other supervisory institutions;
Knowledge and skills: understanding of occupational safety, fire safety, and civil protection, as well as strong computer skills for working with office software (MS Office);
Personal qualities: high sense of responsibility, self-discipline, good communication skills, and ability to work in a team.
